So this morning I received a chain text on my cell phone. It was from a phone number that I did not recognize, but this didn’t bother me because my 13 year old daughter always uses my cell phone.
The text was nice. It started with a pretty picture of flowers. Beneath the bouquet was a message that said something along the lines of a girl/woman being strong and independent. I thought it was so nice that I decided to forward it to a lot of women in my phone.
I went through the list alphabetically. I ended up sending the text to 15 women. A few minutes later my husband received the same text. He assumed it was from me, questioned why I would send him a feminine message and deleted it. Then he asked me why. I informed him that it was not me who sent it. I explained that I sent it to 15 women, but NOT him.
We were both confused. Now I was curious who sent him the flower message. Could it have been one of the ladies I sent it to? How awkward it would be if I send a flower message to a lady and she turns around and sends it to MY husband! The weird thing is that only one lady, my stepmom, sent me a Thank You text.
So here is the mystery: who sent the message to my husband and why? Could it have been the same person who initially sent it to me? I guess we will never know…

The Case of the Mysterious Sender
New Lipstick
So after winning our “Lady Gaga” pink lipsticks and lip glosses, my sister did not like the color for her. We went back to the mall to exchange. It is great that Nordstrom’s allows you to return the make-up.
My sister exchanged her colors and I decided to keep mine. I liked the pink, and it has been a while since I even wore lipstick. While we were in the MAC section I saw a lady wearing a nice nude color. I asked her what colors and if I could try them on myself.
The look was great, I loved it and so did my sister. I didn’t have the funds to purchase it all so I will be returning next month to purchase it. But today my sister surprised me! We went back to MAC because she wanted some more colors and she purchased the lipstick for me!
“It is an early Christmas present”, she said to me. But hey, I sure was happy! Thanks sis, you always make me feel special when you do little things for me. Love you.
